Let’s be real: when things are moving a mile a minute, it’s easy to get lost in a sea of deadlines. That’s why we started the Shine Awards. Every three months, we hit the pause button to celebrate the people who keep Upgaming at the forefront of the industry.

Even though the Upgaming team has been incredibly busy with internal activities and our calendar is packed with various events, there are traditions that everyone looks forward to with great enthusiasm. Our intellectual marathon, the legendary game "What? Where? When?", has officially returned.

There is always room for sports excitement in our event calendar. Naturally, Upgaming's third and largest padel tournament was not long in coming. This dynamic sport has been a favorite in our lineup for quite some time. We even have an official internal padel club where employees play regularly throughout the week, but the now-traditional championship brings a completely different level of energy and anticipation.

Sopho’s six-year journey at Upgaming is a prime example of how to turn irrational fear into opportunity. Her path from Account Manager to Head of Commercial Operations & B2B is a story of tackling challenges, managing "mini-chaoses," and constant self-development.

Giorgi’s career at Upgaming began six years ago, and since then, he has climbed every rung of the ladder - from Fraud Agent to top-level management. Today, Giorgi is involved in risk management not only locally but across Upgaming’s global branches.

The stories of our team members are often so diverse that finding a common thread can be a challenge. However, if you look closely at our Lineup, one trait stands out: an restless energy for creating something new. This is exactly where the story of Nika Siradze begins, a Growth Engineer who joined Upgaming while still in his teens.

On regular days, the Upgaming office is all about a busy workflow and a business atmosphere. However, on June 1st, things shifted quite a bit. Keeping up with our annual tradition for International Children's Day, we hosted our employees' children, instantly filling the office with the happy, energetic chaos of over 100 little guests.

There’s nothing like a bit of friendly competition to find out who the real trivia masters are at Upgaming. We recently hosted our very own "What? Where? When?" tournament, and let’s just say, things got intense (in the best way possible).

If you walk through the office on a Thursday, there’s a good chance you’ll hear someone debating the perfect lob or complaining about a missed smash. Padel has officially taken over Upgaming. While we play every week, we recently decided to step it up with our second major tournament, and the turnout was massive.
