Upgaming’s Second Padel Tournament: Event Highlights

If you walk through the office on a Thursday, there’s a good chance you’ll hear someone debating the perfect lob or complaining about a missed smash. Padel has officially taken over Upgaming. While we play every week, we recently decided to step it up with our second major tournament, and the turnout was massive.

We had 54 players facing off in 27 teams. That’s a lot of neon balls and a surprising amount of competitive spirit. It didn’t matter if you were a seasoned pro or someone who just picked up a racket last month; everyone showed up ready to sweat.

More Than Just a Game

Even the employees who didn't play showed up as full-time supporters, bringing the energy (and the cheers) that kept the teams moving. There’s something about watching your teammates dive for a ball that really brings the office together.

The "Third Half"

In true Upgaming fashion, the tournament didn’t end when the final point was scored. Once the rackets were put away, we moved on to the most important part of the day: The Third Half. We spent the evening celebrating, refueled with some well-earned food, and recapped every "if only" moment from the court. Whether you won the trophy or lost in the first round, here is where everyone wins.

What’s Next?

The winter chill is keeping us on our toes for now, but we’re already eyeing the calendar. As soon as the spring weather hits, we’ll be back on the court for the next one. We believe Upgaming’s third padel championship will be even bigger and more exciting!
