There’s nothing like a bit of friendly competition to find out who the real trivia masters are at Upgaming. We recently hosted our very own "What? Where? When?" tournament, and let’s just say, things got intense (in the best way possible).
We didn’t just pull some random questions off the internet. We went all out. We had 10 teams of 6 players each, exactly like the classic format, ready to face off. To make it feel official, we invited the legend himself, the actual host of the televised version, “Mister Presenter”, to lead the game.
Having that iconic voice in the room definitely added some pressure, but it also made every correct answer feel like a championship win.
The room was filled with that specific kind of silence that only happens when 60 people are simultaneously trying to remember a random historical fact or solve a riddle in under 60 seconds. We saw some incredible teamwork, a few lucky guesses, and a lot of passionate debating.
It turns out, our team is just as good at solving complex puzzles as they are at building platforms.

Talent Spotlight
As part of the Talent Growth Program, we look for individuals who aren't afraid to tackle big challenges. Revaz Kordzaia turned out to be exactly that: a Backend Developer for whom an "impossible" task is just another interesting puzzle to solve.

While every player walked away with a little something to remember the day, our winning team took home some special prizes to cement their status as the office's "Big Brains."
But honestly, the highlight wasn't just the prizes; it was seeing everyone from different departments teaming up, laughing, and collectively realizing that we might have a few secret geniuses among us.
