If you think time travel is impossible, you clearly missed Upgaming’s latest event. One day, our team walked into the office and instead of 2026, we were hit with the authentic, raw, and slightly crazy vibe of the 1990s. In true Georgian fashion, "the power came back on", but this time, it brought nostalgia, epic music, and unforgettable fun.
The moment everyone stepped inside, it was clear the environment had radically changed. Modern tech was replaced by heavy, old-school TVs and cassette players that practically begged for a pencil to rewind the tapes. Retro furniture, antique rotary phones, and iconic vintage posters plastered on the walls completely transported us to another era. And of course, the most authentic touch was the sunflower seeds wrapped in old newspaper - an absolute staple of any '90s street hangout.
The Upgaming team stepped up to the dress code with their signature enthusiasm. The office was filled with the classic "boys in black," as well as team members rocking colorful tracksuits and leather jackets. The real showstoppers, however, were the hyper-specific characters roaming the halls: you could cross paths with an armed Mkhedrioni militia member, former president Eduard Shevardnadze himself, and a nostalgic street ice cream vendor all at once.
